I am Dr. Yemisi Sloane, a criminologist and gender-based violence expert. With a background in law and criminology, I bring both academic expertise and real-world engagement to my research, teaching, and advocacy.
My socio-legal background, combining legal and criminological expertise, is pivotal to my work, enabling me to design and implement projects that promote equality, combat gender-based violence, and advance social justice. This interdisciplinary approach ensures that my research resonate with both academic and non-academic audiences, where I actively advocate for, and champion the rights of marginalized populations.
I hold dual nationality from Nigeria and the United Kingdom and currently live in the United Kingdom.
